Why is grobag® swaddling so good?
grobag® swaddling is a cotton wrap that has been specially designed to make swaddling simple. Swaddling recreates the comforting and soothing feeling of beingin the womb with a gentle pressure around the baby's body.
Swaddling helps your newborn to sleep undisturbed by preventing the 'moro reflex', which is the tendency for newborns to startle themselves by suddenly moving their arms. Swaddling can also help ease the discomfort of colic in the early weeks. As your baby gets bigger, grobag® swaddling can be used for underarm swaddling too.
A safe and sound night's sleep for your baby means peace of mind and more sleep for you

How to swaddle your baby
To get the most out of your grobag swaddling, make sure that you swaddle tightly enough for your baby to feel secure, but not too tight to be constrictive. To check that you have not swaddled your baby too tightly, ensure you can slide your fingers down the top of the wrap when the swaddling is fully done up.

Lie the grobag swaddling fully opened on a flat surface. Fold the topdown slightly so that it is the right length to come up to the base of your baby's neck.
Place you baby's feet so they are just touching the bottom of the pouch when outstretched. Fold the front panel over your baby's chest, tucking it under the arms.
Wrap the short side of the wrap over the chest, neatly tucking the excess fabric underneath your baby. The fabric should be snug but not too tight.
Fold the remaining long side of the wrap over the chest, and carefully wrap the extended end beneath your baby, again ensuring that the swaddling is snug but not constrictive.
